So me and my lil girl were expecting a shitzu for 2 nights then the women kindly said we couldn't have it  my 4 year old daughter is bloody heartbroken. We where getting the dog for free then she just changed her mind how can any1 do that 2 a child anyway am putting this thread up 2 see if there is any1 out there who has or knows of anyway that is looking for a new home for there dog we want a small 1 as my home is not that big please please get in touch if u know any1 you would be making a little girls dream come true  thankyou.

Know exactly what you mean, it happened to me with the 2 king Charles spaniels that were on here she promised me she would hold on to them 'till the next day so we could go and see them then just sold to someone else !! My daughters were really upset !! Some people are heartless Hope you find something soon

no offence meant here but there are lots of rescue dogs available and also lots of posts on here too about them from tilly , why not go and rescue a dog and give it a good home that way ??????

We got Our Shih tzu 8 months ago. I trolled dog breeding forums and advert pages until I found a Seller that was within reasonable distance. Everything was organized via email, went to see the dog, left a deposit and collected when he was ready to leave the parents.

Sorry your little girl was disappointed. Regarding the dog being free. With respect and meaning no offence, if that was a hugely important detail Id urge you to look into how much vets bills are these days - ITS REALLY SCARY , and pedigree dogs in particular can be vetbills on legs ! Feeding a small dog is cheap enough, but as well the expensive yearly vaccines,its quite likely a dog will need treatment for assorted infections, cuts and bugs from time to time . Your little girl would be gutted if after owning her dream, costs forced it to be given up. Just a thought incase youre not in touch with the scandalous current veterinary charges.
