I had a stroke in December 2010, and while i,am recovering i decided to scratch build a 1/24 scale railway on oo/ho rail. So i decided to make a Railcar, the chassis is an old intercity 125.

i decided to make another engine for the layout an old oo hornby from a boot sale add a cab to make 1/24th scale

this is another engine i made earlier my first one

Well done Mike. You've got more patience than I have. Good work on the attention to detail. Hints of rust on the exhaust of the green industrial loco - nice touch!

Is that Peco track or Hornby ? When I made a fixed layout for my (then) young son to play with (THE perfect excuse!), I painted the rails with Humbrol "Rust" and just wiped the railhead clean. Looked quite authentic.
