I've been researching my great great grandmother, Annie Hill (nee Harrison), who lived in various streets that just don't seem to exist anymore, I've never been to Birkenhead, and don't have a feel for the town, or what parts of it have radically altered since the censuses and 1939 register were done
She lived in Payson Street and Flamank Street, which I have found on an old map - can't tell you how ridiculously excited I got about that!!
But then there are others I haven't been able to find... Taylors Buildings in 1901, which I think was in Argyle Ward, 6 Chapel Place in 1911, and 50 Beaufort Square in 1939.
I'd be really grateful if anyone has any information.
