Any ideas what went on between the church and shop on balls road around 5-6am-ish? A lot of debris in road. Police dogs and helicopter where called out and police looking under cars near scene?

Not sure went past this morning around 7:55 road still closed off. Nearly Crashed into the police tape as there are no road signs to say road closed.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses

I 20 year old man from was on top off a building a when the police arrived he start chucking stuff at them.He climb down and escape the police but he was found and arreseted.
This was at 1.45am He also so told the police he was santa claus
My bro phone me and told me this afternoon

Is history repeating itself?
I have a feeling that something similar happened, near the junction with Alfred Road, about 20 years ago. Man on roof throwing brick and tiles down into Balls Road.
Can anybody else confirm this?

Yes it did happen but this was on the oppsite side of the road.
A man who climb on to the tower of the church on the junction of woodchurch road and balls road. also it was the same guy who climb onto the floodllight at tranmere rovers which cause the match to be stop with mansfield town being 2 - 0 up
