A DOG was filmed being beaten and kicked in a sickening attack — by a girl aged TWELVE.



The schoolgirl was seen kneeing, slapping and stamping on stunned springer spaniel Jasper in the 13-minute film.

She whipped him with his lead, then stood on his tail with one leg while kicking him with the other.


The girl is seen kicking the pup 14 times, kneeing it 26 times and hitting it with its lead eight times. She slaps it 17 times and stamps on it ten times.

Last night Jasper’s owner Ray Green, in his 60s, choked back tears after seeing the horrific film. Mr Green, who uses a mobility scooter, had let the girl — the daughter of a close pal — take the 18-month-old dog for walks.


But after seeing the video he said she would never walk Jasper again.

Mr Green, of Keighley, West Yorks, said: “I’ve seen enough.

“I can’t believe it. Jasper is a playful thing and is well-treated.

“She was supposed to be teaching him to walk on a lead. What she did is not right. I am really shocked.”

The girl’s family were stunned when they saw the video — and revealed they had thought that she was an “animal lover”. The family has a cat — and had planned to buy the girl a puppy.

Her stunned dad shook his head in disbelief after seeing the film with Mr Green and said: “I don’t understand where this has come from.

“She loves animals. She walks a few people’s dogs. A man down the road said she’d end up a vet.

“She’ll not be getting a dog now. I can’t believe what I have just seen.”

He said he would be talking at length to his daughter — who he said would be “grounded”. The attack was filmed by a neighbour in a field near his home. The neighbour, who asked not to be named, said he filmed it as evidence after seeing previous abuse.


He said: “I’d seen her jerk his lead before but nothing like this. I couldn’t believe it. It looked like torture.

“The dog was cowering. It tried to defend itself but she just punched it hard. She should be banned from having a pet for at least ten years.

“In a few years she might be a babysitter and who knows what she might do. I couldn’t believe it was able to walk after all she had put it through.

“It must have been bruised all over. I hope the authorities take some action.”

Being a springer, it was still trying its best to please, she needs watching. Someone should give her a bad tempered dog to deal with.

I did not look at the video.The description of what went on ,was enough for me.The dog owner obviously trusted the girl; He being a friend of her father.The parents show that what happened was not something that they expected their daughter to be capable of. They seem to be trying to sort her out;which shows a responsible attitude on their part.I think that it will be some time, if ever, before anyone trusts her with a child or animal, unless under supervision.I hope the dog recovers from its traumatic ordeal.

This is part of the problem - most parents believe their children to be little angels. They have no idea who their friends are or where they they spend their time. Too many kids spend hours sat in front of a computer (do as I say, not as I do LOL) playing games which the parents again have no idea of the content. Too many parents will allow a child to buy a computer game totally disregarding the age rating - they ignore 18+ sign. The games are violent beyond belief in a virtual world but sooner or later in translates into real life.

Yes the parents in this case appear to be as shocked as anyone but is it too late?

First off, I think its 'little angels' like this, who end up doing things like this to the wrong dog, who end up mauled and sometimes missing limbs, and in a few cases dead.

saying that, I've grown up with dogs all my life, I've worked in dog kennels, I've helped out my mum with her dog training business... training 'problem pets'... and never once have I met a dog who is badly behaved of their own accord. 10 times out of 10 its the human who has driven the dog to behave badly...

Now if she was walking a dog that had been... say a staffy that had been raised quite aggressively, and in turn she had been mauled and had the lower half of her arm ripped off, what would be the attitude of everyone who watched the video footage then?

Personally I think that once an animal has attacked a human, it should be put down immediately, as I believe that once an animal has that taste of blood, they will never ever be the same.

and possibly when some humans attack, they should be put down too.

If i was the neighbour filming that, i would have gone out there and slapped that horrible little fat kid around the head a few times, and then draged her back to her dad on a lead, see how she likes it.
