I have recently been given the most ridiculous insurance quote in the world!!!
For a Mitsu FTO 2.0 basic model this company wanted 8500!!!!!!!!!!!1
What a joke!!

Think that is bad, i got a quote from Lloyds TSB for a 1.3 Polo G40 insurance frg 15 for £19000
Not 19 hundred but 19 thousand

God and here was me feeling sorry for myself. My quote last march was £350 f/c then we moved house in Aug and they added another £100. Just changed it over yesterday to my new XR3i which is only 1 yr newer than my old one and worth about £500 more they just charged me £38 to change it over and said that at todays prices it will probably be around £590 ish when I renew in March!

They want extra money for anything. If you fit new dust caps the b****rds want about 50 notes. Just phone every number you can find and you will usually find a realistic company..

all my quotes for me 205 1.6 GTI with a backbox and airfilter came in at around 4g's until i rang a decent one who charged me a grand.

VTR/WIRRAL How many years no-claims? Age? Company? Tesco are really good for FTO, my insurance is £1333 a year, and I'm 23. You have to remember FTOs are group 20

I`m with Tesco now, on my VTR, its £1700 Full Comp

Try liverpool victoria, i know a few people who have good quotes from them. im 18 have a 1.3 fiesta, although im only second driver (but its my car) its only £350 with protected no claims for me dad. <img border="0" alt="[cwclocks]" title="" src="graemlins/cwemotions033.gif" />

I passed my test in feb 1990 and only got my first 3 points in 2002 I was gutted ! gained another 3 since.
