Oh and lesson learnt too matey.

Anything that me be even slightly hard its going to a garage or i'll pay sombody who knows what they are going.

Wheels,suspension and badyparts i'll do but anything else forget it.

Not to happy about the noise but the car cost me so little its not the end of the world pitty i sold my old engine 2 weeks ago.

If its piston slap is that a big job.

Doesnt sound like bigends or littleends to be honest if anything its sounds like chitty chitty bangbang like its bubbling or somthing raftl

Just bought 444 injectors and my lights are ment to be here jan 3rd but we will see.

Also swapping my T25 and cash for my mates T28 and saab fmic

Also just bought myself 444 injectors how do i fit em or can sombody come show me.

Also trying to sort a stage 2 chip form jez sx peps will know him.

Still have a engine problem so have half sorted a FULL s13 auto i think if i need it.

Plus i will have my ps13 lights by start of jan and already have the wigs n bumper just need to pick them up asi paid for them in sept when i still had the old red one.

Just need the brackets for the lights and the bonnet if anybody knows were i can get the brackets from then please let me know.

The injectors are very fiddly - you ideally need to remove the inlet manifold to get to them, but I belive you can, if you have small hands, get in there by just removing the support bracket for the manifold.

Make sure you buy new O rings for the injectors, and be very careful fitting them, so as not to catch the O rings - this will cause an air leak that is VERY hard to find... frown

Dunno might be little ends its not big ends.

Need it looking at asoon as really.

I'll still chuck it through its mot and if needs be get another engine.

Would like to know what it is though

To me, that doesnt sound like big ends, but im no expert.

Dont try and take them coilpacks off mate (I've heard stories doh )

i'll put a bet on little ends, or a piston fooked. shame to hear it, as all you've had is trouble with these nissans! if i were you i'd throw an engine in there for the time being, and then if its save-able do the works the the fubared engine. better rods, low comp pistons, over bore, etc....

My plan for this car was coilovers put my 2way diff on and just chuck it about a few drift tracks while i save for my ps.

I am going to look into what it would take to do the job as i may help me learn alittle otherwise is a new engine job standard though.

Its strange because it idles ok....

Piston / valves would effect the idle, but a little end shouldnt cause the car to smoke...
