:: Update ::

The car is now off the road, the bucket seats have gone, and so have the wheels, the plans are as follows

• Engine

I have bought a 1.6 CVH XRtwo engine, this is completely standard, running 96-100bhp, i am gonna cam it, twin webber it, and get a nice straight thru exhaust, ' for starters '

• Interior

I am going for a Mk3 dash, this involves a little welding, cutting and wiring, and the main thing is re-shaping the sterring column, but it will totally update the interior, and its poo inside

I am also going for Recaro's, full set, front n back, which, in time, will be trimmed in cream leather

• Wheels / Suspension / brakes

This is where im stuck, I am either gonna get some wide ass 15's, or some RSGT 19's, but im not too sure yet, i may end up with a set of 19" show wheels, and a set of everyday 17's, but we'll see, suspension is going to have new shocks all round, and run on the -40mm springs ive got. Brakes will be RS Turbo Calipers and 180mm vented disks

• Other

New Headunit, front speakers, and 6*9's, Subs to be nicely done in the boot, and keepin the same subs and amp, maybe add another amp... but we'll see, this is at the bottom of the list of priorites, also want a set of F1 style mirrors.

one thing to say, PHWAT. that is a beaute, with ur list of future things sounds like the end result is gonna be hittin a mag one day,u got any intrest yet, show fast ford it and theyll keep an eye on ur and publish ur progress then feature the end result i reckon,its ace

nahh not yet hun, am waiting till chrimbo, plan is, 16*8 cossie wheels for everyday use, and 19" RSGT's or chromes for shows and cruises
