Looks like I was a victim of sensationalism, I'll try to tone the subject down in future Sensationalism or not, I can't find out a thing about it now the road is open again - you'd think someone would know something!

A man, believed to be in his twenties, has been attacked at an exclusive property in Caldy Village this afternoon and armed police were called in to patrol the area.
A taxi driver who did not wish to be identified told Mersey Magazine he had seen Matrix vans in the area following the attack which happened late afternoon in Croft Drive West

A WIRRAL man has been charged with false imprisonment following an incident last weekend. Paul Winskill, 49, of Croft Drive West, Caldy, was arrested on Saturday and later charged. Officers were called to the area at around 4.30pm in response to concerns for the safety of a man. Winskill was remanded in custody and will appear at Wirral Magistrates’ Court this morning.
