The A41 is still shut out of Birkenhead (or at least it was at 2am) and it still smells of burning around here haha!

He says there is a fire in the same direction. He's a distance away so can't say for sure. Just guessing.

i was just taking my daughter to bromborough and seen black plummes of smoke on new chester road and fire engines heading that way i could see the smoke from the asda in bromborough

They've just said on the news that there is / was a big fire in Hope Street Liverpool. Could the smoke have drifted across???

the fire in liverpool was offices next to the philarmonic pub ,over 60 firefighters were there,started around 6.50 this morning,they are still there damping down,they dont know how it started.

No it was definitely from this side and drifting towards Liverpool. Thick black clouds of smoke but it didn't last too long.
