Update.
We have managed to find our dog but unfortunately his body was washed up at New Brighton this morning. I would like to thank everybody who helped and the guys on the forum for keeping his picture up for so long.

Sorry to hear that matey, must be a terrible time for yourself and family, as said he looked a lovely little pooch and sounded like he had a great personality. I agree with others, just think of all the good times you had with him! I recently had a Neon Gourami (a tropical fish) contract the Gourami Irrodovirus and he was my pride and joy in the tank; he battled on for weeks and weeks longer than they are supposed to, but incidentally, I buried him at New Brighton!
