The shops on conway street? - Clicky

When Europa Pools, Vue Cinema and Conway Park train station was all a massive gravel car park?

There was an Asda where Wilkinsons in bhead town now is?

I remember the asda and the car park on the roof

No one parked up there as the cars were getting vandalized

But the upramp was boss for coming down with skateboards lol

i remember goin the pics in bhead nr the argos carpark to see star wars and also he-man

who remebers the bingo (rank i think) shows my age and when asda was 2-p for the trolly and tramps like me used to offer to take it back

And the fact there was 2 bus stops the 3 to and the other one to the ford and so on

Also i cant remember what the cin used to be

Fook me, this is showing our ages....

I remember all of those things, plus the Unit 4 Cinema on Seabank Road, the opening of the pyramids (I met and shook the hand of Frank Bruno), I remember New Brighton when it was all rocks and no beach.

Does anyone else remember the Yellow Council vans that used to be everywhere doing maintenance work? I guess its all contracted out now....

anyone remember gettin chased by the MPS haha? - it was a common feature of my earlier youth... then as we got older we didnt run, just hurled abuse at them knowing they couldnt really do anything but a citizens arrest... which never happened

I think you missed vital details out of that, like Merrydown, 20/20 and white lightening

Clearing out my uncles attic, we came across 3 bottles of this
stuff MD 20/20 (Mad Dog we called it lol) but it was all lumpy
inside, like pure orange juice lol...

What about what was there before Bidston Moss Tescos lol

I remember the yellow council vans lol
They were a nation wide feature lol.

Joe i remember that Bingo, but never called in.

Remember when you would only get beat up once a weekend down town.

And finally for this hour, rememeber St James Church when
it was a sensible roundabout

I Remember there being loads of ponds there.

Does anyone remember the old Co-Op where Asda is on the Woodchurch?

I am pretty sure you used to park on the roof their aswell
