ordered these the other day of ebay arrived today so will be giving them to pete monday to fit before its painted.hopefully the car will be in the bodyshop for bit longer due to me spending the money I was going to pay him with on a med cruise nxt yearlol

been today to drop the mirrors of, he has assured me this time next week the car will be prepped and in primer ready for the top coat. Also my other bits from the states arrived today aswell just need to get some numberplates made up.

Sounds good! What type of number plates are you getting Rhys? Old style or new style? Or do they have be old style by law anyway?

can only legaly have old style plates if it older than 1973, but some people i know have gotten away with it only a few years out.

Its a 1967 car

am not keeping with the old style plates, the plate frames are american size much taller and narrower, have ordered them from designaplate.co.uk, they look like what you have on a modern day car. £19.50 the pair. Think they will look gud. Just got no car to put them on lol

Those bullet mirrors ooo you copycat! I think you will fin that you cant see anything out of them as they are non-adjustable whereas mine are adjustabele... (hmm sounds cocky?!)

Oh yeh another thing i was goin to say, uprating the brakes, are you putting disks front and back? And what brakes are you going to use?

aaahaaaaaa mine are adjustable so their ha ha ha, just large disc and calliper upgrade on the front, will use the brakes that come with the rear axle.

also I need help deciding a colour, asked him today if he could spray it the same colour as the grey skyline he has in their similar to lawtons. I was thinking of getting something retro airforceeeeee related airbrushed onto the car. I will find a pic of what I mean if I can cause at the mo its just a image in my wierd head

Well have just gone well overboard on the heralds paint. I contacted a house of kolor supplier and have ordered the following

. 2qrt of black HOK base coat
. 4qrt of HOK Shimering Candy Oriental Blue
. 4qrt of HOK Clear Laquer
. Plus Thinners and Hardeners as it is a 2pack paint(much better and harder.

Scary bit is it cost me £530.40

glad you havent gone for the grey, would have been to boring to get all that work done and to go for grey,

that blue is fit and if it is anywhere near the quality of other paints iv seen them make the finish will be awesome

how long you recon now?
