Ive had a look at insurance recently, and to be honest, id have to go for a Volvo 360 2.0. Insurance would be roughly £400 with the right policy, maybe even less if i shopped around more. Whereas an E30 325 would be in the region of £1200, more then im paying on the RST. Its just not worth it for a second car. Id may aswell buy a cossie then pay for two loads of expensive insurance. With a few choice mods i reckon a 360 is up to the job, especially if i eventually fit a 1.8 16v clio engine. Plus the car im considering at the moment theyd only want to steal £250 from me

Not just steering lock that puts people off driftin cossies... they are laggy as hell, unreliable as hell, coilovers are expensive for them, they love petrol pumps, standard diffs are fragile and have crap lock-up, and adjustable suspension is too expensive for them compared to other cars.

try classic insurance for a ovlov or a e30 as they are 0ver 15 years old so are available for classic as long as you are over 21 years old. spinking had a ovlov on classic and was cheap to insure i'm sure he can tell you what the price was

Been awhile so thought i best update. Managed to get the rearsubframe back on with alittle help of my mate was a pain in the arse to get sitting right but at least its a job i wont need to do again. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.images.wikiwirral.co.uk/uploads/902/2009/09august/cruisewirral300809(57).jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.images.wikiwirral.co.uk/uploads/902/2009/09august/cruisewirral300809(58).jpg) Bought the wrong rear disks (read the ebay add wrong) so cant put my rear skyline calipers on and get the hydro hooked up yet. Mate of mine came down and sorted the elecs out for me to now have all the lights working on the car. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.images.wikiwirral.co.uk/uploads/902/2009/09august/cruisewirral300809(59).jpg) Put 15mm spacers on to see how far out the rear wheels sit for when i get the chargespeed rear fenders just after xmas. SHOULD JUST ROLL THE ARCHES LOOKS ACE AS IT IS ![[Linked Image]](https://www.images.wikiwirral.co.uk/uploads/902/2009/09august/cruisewirral300809(60).jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.images.wikiwirral.co.uk/uploads/902/2009/09august/cruisewirral300809(61).jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.images.wikiwirral.co.uk/uploads/902/2009/09august/cruisewirral300809(62).jpg) And fitted the spacer on the tien rods and played with the camber on the front going to need this setting up as the front wheels are all over the place camber looks good though ![[Linked Image]](https://www.images.wikiwirral.co.uk/uploads/902/2009/09august/cruisewirral300809(63).jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.images.wikiwirral.co.uk/uploads/902/2009/09august/cruisewirral300809(64).jpg) Hoping to be back down the pod in jan/feb the cars off for paint and a cage prob april/may time. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.images.wikiwirral.co.uk/uploads/902/2009/09august/cruisewirral300809(65).jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.images.wikiwirral.co.uk/uploads/902/2009/09august/cruisewirral300809(66).jpg)

Been busy again on the car a day off without the wifes ace means i can get stuck into my car without the phone going every two minutes LOL Put the cups on the rear subframe and the braces that go on the subframe and chassie (no idea what they are for maybe to stop axle tramp) also painted them red byt forgot to take pics. Got the front camber sitting right and sorted the tracking (only by eye) and also put the other 6mm spacer on the tein rod (better steering lock) Its the gold ring at the end of the rod blue stuff thread lock. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.images.wikiwirral.co.uk/uploads/902/2009/09august/cruisewirral300809(67).jpg) Also started taking the rest of the carpets and sound deadning out ![[Linked Image]](https://www.images.wikiwirral.co.uk/uploads/902/2009/09august/cruisewirral300809(68).jpg) But found some new holes that are going to need replacing and possible a new sill it is a s13 so shouldnt be shocked really. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.images.wikiwirral.co.uk/uploads/902/2009/09august/cruisewirral300809(69).jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.images.wikiwirral.co.uk/uploads/902/2009/09august/cruisewirral300809(70).jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.images.wikiwirral.co.uk/uploads/902/2009/09august/cruisewirral300809(71).jpg) Also put my srb stickers on make me go faster i tell you ![[Linked Image]](https://www.images.wikiwirral.co.uk/uploads/902/2009/09august/cruisewirral300809(72).jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.images.wikiwirral.co.uk/uploads/902/2009/09august/cruisewirral300809(73).jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.images.wikiwirral.co.uk/uploads/902/2009/09august/cruisewirral300809(74).jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.images.wikiwirral.co.uk/uploads/902/2009/09august/cruisewirral300809(75).jpg)
