Why don't you look for more rally **** style alloys mate? Those are nice, but not sure if they'd suit a rally based car Maybe white or gold ones?

As people know i adore Compo's!
They really would give your car the 'Rally styling' that your going for.
Plus I can get 17.5% discount from Compomotive with being in the Escort Owners Club

Car does in excess of 160 mph, probably 175 mph ??
0 - 60 is below 4 seconds
The RS GT 18s are approx £600 with tyres...

couple of questions 1st: can you lambo style all 4 doors? are lambo doors automatic, for example when approaching the car can you press a button and the door opens on its own.
No, it doesnt go with the rally theme, but if you want to change your theme and go jap styling and the answer to both these question is yes then go for it. or lambo style the front doors and weld the rear ones closed and smooth them over, so it looks like they were never there.
what about those butterfly doors like on the "back to the future" car (?delorean?)
ps, where have your quad headlights gone?

The RS GT Alloys are from good old e-bay matey....
The lambo door conversion costs about £600 for the parts and about 8 Hrs labour to fit.
You cannot Lambo the rear doors as there is no room for the mechanisms, on the front doors the mechanisms are hidden behind the front wings.
I guess you could wire up a remote to open the doors automatically ?? Not Sure, it dosnt come with the kit anyways.
My Quad Headlights didnt suit the Rally Theme so i sold them and made £150 in the process I prefer the glass look of the headlamps as there is allot of lights and glass at the front of the car.
Just checked and it looks like i can only get these ones in 18's.

These are the choices
- Current Alloys 17's
- 18's RS GT's
- 5 Spoke Comp's (18's)
- 6 Spoke Comp's (18's)
I am confusing myself now....
I am starting to like the 6-spoke Comp's...

Its hardly a road car with stickers.
Getting back to what i was saying is the car is of a "Rally Theme" and lowering the car dosnt really go with a "Rally Theme" at all. Hence what i said.
I wouldnt lower it mate, you just dont get low rally cars

Compo 5's we think m8y. 6's are ok but both of those are cool for a rally ho. Lambo doors get the thumbs up! hu sed weld the rear doors! Are u flaming stupid. Suicide could be a good idea tho.Seen a bug eyed maroon scoob in wax flower with lambo/suicide combo. Looked mint.

Look, Look, Look, Yipee........
Fan-Daba-Dosey - Current with New 18's Fitted
The car rides very very smooth with these fitted, i have always been concerned about haveing a HARD ride thats why i have avoided running 18's in the past but it is still a really smooth ride. The tyre roll has disapeared totally, you turn and there is no hesitation at all, it feels really really tight and very very responsive through the steering now. The only down side is i am running FULDA Tyres now I am used to running either Yokahama A539's or Toyo Proxes. I have just tried the tyres coming through a few bends and corners on the way home and boy do these FULDA's slide about allot, I have never ever had so much four-wheel drift in my life, Im loving it..... What does everyone think, have i made the right choice or not ??

That chops nice but it is too low. Lower it scoob but as others have said, only 30-40mm just to stop the arches lookin like caves(and obviously to lower the centre of gravity, increase handlin, decrease body roll, bla bla)

I saw this in Birkenhead the other day. Either it was being towed (with a long rope), or you've got the new engine!

Still got it but its a bit tarnished from the heat from the flamer and to be honest i like the look of the new 4 1/2 inch jap style one fitted, nice slash cut and angled just right, sounds just as loud

Yay.They imprezas back for good. You know what you need now jay. The STi8 scoop And the worlds best flamer kit. Maybe build a pipe extension to keep the flames away from the bumper. Like that sierra had at the nationals

Not a lover of the STi8 Scoop and may be getting a FMIC yet ??
Also that sierra just looked hiddious with that extension thing, if i re-do the flamer it will be with a normal exhaust.

*** Help Needed ***For those of you who remember when i was selling the range rover i got offered a swap for a TVR, well now the same guy has offered me a straight swap for the Impreza, what should i do - 5.0 V8 engine
- Rear Wheel Drive
- No Traction Control
- No ABS
- No Airbags
- 40,000 miles
- Max power - 340bhp @ 5500rpm
- Max torque - 350ft.lbs @ 4000rpm
- Standing quarter mile - 12.2 secs
- 0-60 - 4.1 secs
- 0-100 - 10.2 secs
- Pure Drifting Machine
The chimaera 500 is worth approx £18,000 book price but allot less realisticaly, probably about £13,000 or so. Tempting i must say, 5,000 cc engine, Hmmmmmm..... Opinions needed peeps

I say no, what you gotta think about is why does he want to swap it so badly, first for the rangey and now for the scooby, whats goin on there?
Plus, the scooby is an almost unique car, its fantastic, you will defo miss it if it goes, and as for the TVR, very nice car, but it just aint the same, quite a few TVR's about like that, but how many white scooby's do you see with all the graphics and features that yours has got, not many at all.
Stick with the scoob.

U know my views mate. The TVR wud be a good car but the scooby can be an everyday car,a show stopper and a country road laugh. The TVR would be none of those really. Couldnt use it everyday and its too dagerous to push to the limit on open roads. Still would trun heads tho,not as many IMO

Iam a lover of TVR but they handle like SHITE!! They will also drain every penny from your walllet also. Forget £2-4K engine rebuild, your looking at £8-10K. I was considering a Cerbera but was told the bad news by a friend I know who's a TVR service manager. Most jobs are engine out Iam afraid! Sure they are fast but most are rough examples and require lots of work. Don't be fooled by nice bodywork and cosmetically perfect. The reliability is a lot worse than Lotus and that's bad!!

how about the sierra at this years nats??
I aint seen a vid of urs to compare. I dont know if it burns for ages or weather its just spurts?? show meeee. Why dont u get some thin sheet steel and wrap it round the zorst to extend it a few inches when u wanna do flamer shows

I prefer ur style of flame but u have to admit his was impressive. And u could do with an extension pipe to save ur bumper when doing flamer shows. All u need is a bit of sheet steel and a jubilee clip big enough to secure it round ur tailpipe.Bolt it on. Fire it up,then take it off
