Sorry if am sounding dumb here, im tired and havent looked back through the thread, but does that mean you will putting a Zetec lump into the beast now matey??

are you doing a budget build spacer plate conversion or a full rebiuld on the zetec?

nope will be buying a set of low compression forged pistons, about£4-500 a set. Will be using the standard rods though. Am going down this route as it will mate up with the type 9 gearbox. Am a bit unsure about the inlet which one to use?? think its the 1.8 zetec intake of the XR2i

got the turbo bug too have you! anymore pics on the paint?

with the zetec turbo, have you any plans for it i.e what boost you will run and around what power you want it to put out?

would like between 200-250bhp, I like the zetec cause it so easyily suited to rwd, whereas all the other engine types arnt. I was thinking of a red top but I this I need the sound of turbo shatter lol

250bhp in that will be veryquick matey.

std rods will cope with 300bhp, anymore is a push.

try passionford for more info as alot of people are doing these conversions,

efi or standalone management?

Just got this, will be polishing it up in work when it arrives. Yes will be using the EFI system seems to be okay and much cheaper.

no offence here but that charge carrier will be pointing towards the back of the car when fitted, or are you going to modify it to face the other way?
