hey all,
my engine warning light has come on. The engine has been coughing for about a month or so and eats oil like nobodies business but hasn't failed me yet.
Noticed the engine warning light came on y'day though.
Can anyone recommend someone who's decent who they've used who could come take a look? Would rather be safe than sorry!

Just cleared them  the crank and cam sensors are common to go on the almera so you may find its one of them. Drop me a PM if you want us to pop the diagnostics machine on.

it's worth noting that on these cars the timing chain is also a common fault, my dad has a 2004 Almera and the timing chain has gone twice on it, but the read outs claimed the crank sensors were at fault.
