Help reqd please,can anyone point me in the right direction,my Whatsapp needs updating but my Samsung Ace3 keeps telling me not enough storage,
And the Q is,how do i get more storage

Uninstall programs.
Facebook can hold lots of data. Clear the cache for Facebook.

Thanks for the reply,d'you mean uninstall the old Whatsapp then install the now one,BTW if i uninstall
the old one will i loose my pics

Put a bigger sd card in your phone if it takes them. Or download your pictures to pc

Cheers Baza No he means delete some stuff off your phone, or move pics etc etc on to sd card, and uninstall un-used app's. This will free up space on your phone, you may find just by moving files on to a sd card this will free up loads of space if your phone is full, your phone is 8gb so loads of space if you move stuff on to sd card.

Thanks for all the replies fella's,i've deleted an app, pics are on the SD card,Whatsapp needs 15.11 MB and i have 42MB free space,and the bugga still says insufficient storage

Do you have clean master on your phone? That will clean up lots of junk files. It will also tell you which apps are rarely used, so you could then delete them as well

Here's a very simple solution that works on my Samsung Galaxy S II ; I have no idea about other models:
1.Open the Phone app and switch to Keypad.
2.Dial *#9900#
3.On the screen that appears, click on the button labelled "Delete dumpstate/logcat".
done .

Zipper your suggestion looks to techy for me but thanks anyway.
Stumpyduck i've heard of your suggestion before,and tried
it,it does bring up SysDump but i havent got a "Delete dumpstate/logcat". in the menu Boo Hoo ;-(

After typing *#9900#, I will get only the following options
1.run dumpstate/logcat
2.copy kernal log to SD Card
3.Copy to SC card
4.Enable debug log
5.Disable fast dormancy
6.Choose debug level
7.TCP DUMP start
8.Start RIL log
9.Copy RIL log
10.run modem log
