Afternoon all
Just went to use my phone and there was a message saying enter 'blackberry' to continue. I did then it said enter your password. I did and now it says final attempt to enter password or data will be lost !!
Had the phone for nearly 2 years and never had this before
Any ideas?

try doing a battery pull,that should sort it out!

No.....but white screen of death will I presume it was on its way out anyway as my ringtone changed all by itself this morning

Blackberry has the highest security of its type, if it's formatted itself then your data is gone, forever.
Normally the "enter Blackberry" is after the 6th, 9th and 10th attempt at passwords (to stop random key presses wiping a phone).
Try plugging it into your computer and using Blackberry desktop manager to perform a backup.
If the phone does wipe, and you already have a backup on your machine, restoring it will put everything back on your phone exactly as it was the last time it was backed up.
