I dont think it should be Best Car as i could turn up in my rangy and win, now thats hardly fair is it but if its Best Effort then a 1100cc standard fiesta could win.

Well I expect that people on here will have the decency to vote for someone elses. I think everyone on here is honest enough to vote for their personal faves etc...

I think if it is to be a vote, we would need to have a paper vote on the 24th August members meet, as I think everyones cars should be included in both votes.

Otherwise, a shortlist could be drawn up and we could have a hidden vote on the forums...

I think it could be ammended to "Best Modified Car".

Otherwise, as you say, best effort could be better. But I think we could have both....

Best Modified car means money.

Why should a member be excluded just because they dont have as much money as some other members ?

Effort costs nothing appart from passion, will and time.

I think Tupac should be the only Judge one the day, keeps it simple.

I have the vaot thing sorted thats no probs already drawn up how its going to be done.

PAPER WITH THE 3 OR MAYBE WE SHOULD JUST DO 2 AWARDS AND PERSONS NAME ON THE TOP

That way if i get one with the same persons name on twice or sombody who doesnt exist then that can be binned.

Its the same way i used to do players player of the year award when i ran a footy team and that worked.

Agree with best mod as thats money and that was somthing i was trying to stay away from.

The trophy thin is only a idea its somthing we dont have to go along with if it takes the fun out of tha day.

I could just try and arrange the go-karting again instead.

No matey You put who you want to win what cat and the one with the most votes wins the trophy from that cat.

I suppose if we wanted to keep it really strict, you could use raffle tickets lol, that way each member can get one, they can write the names on the back of it and its a totally anonymous vote.

I don't really think it is needed on this site, such is the good spirit of all the members, but its an idea I just had fly into my head, and I suppose all idea's are good ideas, even if their not really warranted for the thing in question lol.

Trophies

"Show 'n shine" This should be voted for by all and they should vote for the car they think is the cleanest,both wash wise and tidywise,a rustbucket that is lickably clean shudnt win,but a 11 year old beemer thats been waxed and tyreshined etc shud stand a chance

"Best car" Again voted by all as their fave car,opinions differ, there may be a 50 grand saxo there but it wont get my vote. personally id vote for stus mini if he took it (but it wont be ready?) and thats not been a REAL money pit. So it shows that money has nowt to do with it,its the attention to detail.If there was a mk1 concourse escort there id vote for that over ANY car,even the old rangey jay,or even the scooby. speaking of which,GET ANOTHER IMPREZA.

Can ANY car get onto the dips,ive never been in but remember going down into them in my dads car when i was little.

Exhaust sound off-im up for that ,heeeheeee.there is a place at the dips far enough away from houses enough to "rev it up" maybe set a rev limit?? See whos loudest at 3500 or something?

Yeah, id love a T Shirt, I remember when CW used to sell hats and shirts and coats and things, but I think there wasnt enough demand for em.

Hopefully it can be tried again in future, maybe with just shirts to begin with, if the demand is there hehe!

Cant wait for the BBQ, gunna be well good, so many people all pulling together to expand this great idea by Tupac, will be one to remember im sure of it!

erm they still sell them (shirts, caps elc) i think, cuz i seen a section on this website where ya can put orders in.
