Hi, Does anyone have any idea of how much it will cost to replace a headlight connector in a Nissan Micra and any recommendations for who to do it ?? Thank You x

Do you mean the actual connector which pushes into the headlight bulb?

common fault on micras they get a bad connection overheat and melt ! botch is to use spade terminals but to do it properly you need to replace part of the loom

Thanks johncon, Yes turnip we think so, someone who had a look for us (not a mechanic) said we need it replacing.....know nothing about cars !! Are we best just taking it to a garage ?

We still need to make a living I charge £35per hour By the time I buy the part then add fuel to come to you I thought it was s fair price for a professional service

£35 per hour without having to pay rent, elecy, water rates, insurance etc isn't to be sniffed at!!
