The car parks on any sunny day are filled to capacity with mostly day trippers. As a local shopper I find New Brighton's new development difficult to access for food shopping so I have learned to order on line once a month and use the small local shops for fresh food.

We sometimes pop into Iceland/Asda at Birkenhead North and have always found the shops clean,well organised and the staff very helpful and friendly.

Don't worry everyone there'll be no problem parking next summer, the council are going to start charging ... (they can't touch the Morrison's car park as it's private but that will only put pressure on that one too.
