Just bought a 57 plate 1.7 cdti ex police car.
All was OK on the test drive around his house but as soon as we had paid and hit the motorway, service light came on and went into limp home mode.
cleaned out egr valve and throtle body but still same.
getting these codes.
P0190 Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
P1125 Throttle position sensor intermittent
P0638 Throttle Actuator Control Range/Performance
Checked all cables, connectors and pipes and all look ok.
Car does not like starting when cold also.
Anyone got any ideas or recommend a garage .

Are the codes present or are you reading old stored codes?

Present, had a couple of codes before i cleaned the bits now getting the following:

give vauxcare in birkenhead a call. They are on the a41 by halfords . I use them for my astra and they are on the ball. Sorryi don't have the number
