we have a 15 mth old ipad 1 with a horrid grey line across the screen we have tried factory restore...nojoy! is there anyone locally that can fix this?

Probably needs a new screen, usually get this if it has been dropped. I know someone who had something similar recently and it was beyond economical repair. He took it too apple, gave them 200 quid and got a iPad 3 exchange.
