cheers guys and gals. some good suggestions on there, places i havent eaten before.
has anybody ate at the leverhulme hotel before? Leverhulme Hotel link is at top of page two. Apparently, it is spot on. Wheatsheaf at Raby..nice but such a long time since I was there. Wasn't fine dine then, bit more like a barn.

Peninsula dining room excellent good prices
Fraiche good but soulless

I love the Manor in Greasby always been reasonable when ive been and lovely food, I need to try Marsh Cat so many people I know have said its their favourite
