Rake Lane was excellent when some of us went at Halloween. Felt like we were in a giant chess set. lol.
Well worth a mooch in day time hours. Loads of maritime history .

1.Rake line cemetery 2.Riveca rd woods and shelters 3.Haymarket 4.Wirral Way [Hooton-Neston] 5.Storeton to Thornton Hough 6.Flaybrick Cemetery 7. Rake Lane sounds great as it's only 2 minutes walk from my home. Some other interesting walks on Merseyside that I found on this website - Allerton Oak
