I hadn't seen it either. Custard yellow cars were fashionable.
The empty New Brighton baths looked fabulous - many happy summers spent there with a season ticket.

Thanks for all your nice comments. I will be looking through all my old VHS videos, and hope to find a couple more short films. The original video was made for our relatives in America. My sister married a G.I after the war and went to live in the States. So I produced a video of New Brighton, Field Road where we lived and the Ferry. Just to bring back memories. Thanks one again.

Cool link. My dad has footage somewhere of the big storms in 1990 - will have to see if he can dig it out. Its on VHS though, so also take time to convert
