Traflea Community Garden in Egremont are holding a halloween event for the local children this year.

We have lots of fun activities like pumpking carving, free BBQ with hot dogs and burgers and decorate your own spooky bircuits and even the traditional bob apples!!

Morrisons in New Brighton have donated lots of pumpkins and other goodies for the event.

Traflea Community Garden is on Trafalgar/Lea Road in Egremont Wallasey:)
Thankyou Morrisons! xx

Thankyou

Even if the weather is terrible we'll still be there, it's got to be safer for the kids than knocking on people's doors trick or treating...

Got a lorry load of pumpkin soup being made to help keep us warm too!

There's a real danger that the left will drag Britain back to the 1970s, with secure well-paid jobs, ample housing, properly-funded NHS and social care, free tuition, student grants, final salary pensions, affordable rail fares and fabulous films and music. David Osland 2025

None of us at Traflea are 'staff' we're all people from the local area volunteering our spare time smile We're running this event purely from donations and the fund raising we have done over the summer months. The cost of everything that we have bought for the event has come from us selling our spare plants and fruit and veg for a small donationfrom people in the area and the generosity of Morrisons and Co-op in Tafalgar Road.

A big Thankyou also goes to co-op in Trafalgar Road who have just donated 10 Pumpkins for the event , very much appreciated..
I hope the weather is kind to us, but if its not we'll still be there, hope some of you are going to come along and try our homemade pumpkin soup! we have about 40 pumpkins to hollow out this afternoon ready for tomorow and there will be GALLONS of soup for people to try!!!
