right here are the pics everyone:

Step 1, sted had a leak in the boot so we had to sort that out, so covered the thing in blue waterproof sheeting.

step 2, this is one i prepared earlier, steds side panels.

[Linked Image]

step 3, covered steds box in black leatherette, and made the holes for the subs to go in.

[Linked Image]

step 4, put the subs in the box, very nice!

[Linked Image]

step 5, fitted the box in the boot and then covered bit of wood to sit in front.

step 6, Voila!!

we used spray adhesive but because the leatherette stuff was all folded up and not in a roll, there were big creases which i cudnt get out, i heard that if you put a towel over it, you can iron it so might suggest that to sted.

Maybe considering using a staple gun next time, that way you can staple one side down, pull the other side tight and then staple that side down also ???

Possibly use the adhesive also ????

for best results lay the carpet/vynal out face down, spray both the wood and covering with spray adhesive and leave for 5 mins, then when it is tacky apply and rub over with your hands, once you know wot you are doing you can be a bit more lax with spraying it
