I watched the programme on Wootton Bassett - not a dry eye in the house! Now getting annoyed watching the programme on strangeways which should by the looks of it be called My Big Fat Chavvy Prison Wedding  Yer, i watched it with a 'professional view-point' and i found it disturbing, on many levels.

I watched the programme on Wootton Bassett - not a dry eye in the house! Now getting annoyed watching the programme on strangeways which should by the looks of it be called My Big Fat Chavvy Prison Wedding Yer, i watched it with a 'professional view-point' and i found it disturbing, on many levels. That's one of the reasons I'll never go back to Criminal Defence, but that's a whole other thread

When TV is boring I usually go to I Player and check out the categories to see what I have missed and watch online. Most of the time I switch off TV and read as I like a bit of peace now and then. Background music in pubs and restaurants is ok so long as not too loud.

Anybody watching The Killing on C4? I didn't see the Danish original but this one is a belter. Very dark but a cut above most American TV drama.Give it a go.On a similar subject-is anyone reading Scandinavian crime novels,such as books by Steig Larssen and Jo Nesbo.What do you think of them?

oops!Pressed the wrong button(too much Chianti!)-I meant to say Castle is on C5 on Fridays-well worth a look if you want to spend an hour on a good comedy/thriller.
