I'd keep your eyes on the weather forecast on that area, on top of the hill the temperatures are probably 3 degrees lower than surrounding areas and possibly more importantly the wind is often double the surrounding areas.
Current prediction around there is 0 degrees 5-10mph = windchill -3 degrees
translating that to the top of the hill -3 degrees 10-20mph = windchill -10 degrees
That would start getting extremely uncomfortable after only half an hour in normal winter clothing. lol that cool then?

have been giving this some thought, the weather may not be suitable for this this weekend. maybe worth postponing it till the white stuff clears , what do u think ?

I don't mind doing Flaybrick again as a couple of people have suggested. Rivington pike could be like the north pole in these conditions.
