Yep, again costing us even more money. Get some back and save on lions food at the nearest zoo, just through his torso in and save a bit that way I say.

Man arrested in Raoul Moat inquiry

A man has been arrested on suspicion of firearms offences in connection with the Raoul Moat investigation, police said.

The man, 23, who has not been charged, is the 16th person to be arrested in connection with the case. It follows the arrests of five men last week.

Two men, aged 28 and 36, were arrested in the Newcastle area on suspicion of assisting an offender, on Thursday. They were later released on police bail, pending further inquiries.

Northumbria Police arrested three men, aged 27, 34 and 45, at two addresses in Newcastle and one in Wallsend, on the same charges on Wednesday. They have also been bailed.

So far only two people have been charged in relation to the inquiry.

Karl Ness and Qhuram Awan appeared at Newcastle Magistrates' Court on July 8 charged with conspiracy to commit murder and possessing a firearm with intent.

Ness, 26, from Dudley in North Tyneside, and Awan, 23, from Blyth in Northumberland, were remanded in custody to appear before Newcastle Crown Court later this month.

Second Raoul Moat Post Mortem Ordered

A second post mortem is to carried out on the body of gunman Raoul Moat, according to Sky News sources.

His family asked for another investigation, claiming his injuries were not consistent with the kind of wounds a shotgun would make.

They also claim the official report contained no mention of injuries from the Tasers that police said they used on him.

The second post mortem will be undertaken by a different pathologist with the first pathologist present.

Raoul Moat's bother Angus said: "We're not drawing any conclusions - we're leaving that to the experts.

"We are not antagonistic towards the police, this is not a stance against the police - that won't achieve anything.

"We just need a chronology of events and want to make sure everything is done properly. We want to establish what happened if we can do so.

"We have paid for a second post mortem examination for our own peace of mind. The whole situation is horrible for everyone concerned."

Angus also said he did not condone people turning his brother into a "Facebook icon".

"I don't like Raoul being glorified as some anti hero - the whole sorry event was tragic for all concerned."

Northumbria police said two shots from the stun guns were fired at Moat before he killed himself.

The Independent Police Complaints Commission is to look into whether the 50,000-volt electric charges caused the former bouncer to commit suicide.

Four more suspects have been arrested on suspicion of helping Moat, taking the total of arrests to 20.

Moat shot and injured his ex Sam Stobbart and killed her new lover Chris Brown on July 3 in Gateshead.

The following day he shot PC David Rathband in an unprovoked attack in Newcastle.

After eight days on the run, Moat was trapped by police in the Northumberland town of Rothbury on the night of Friday, July 9.

The six-hour stalemate on a riverbank eventually came to an end when the 37-year-old shot himself dead.

haway he was shot by the police no mistaken that one. (they used illegal tasers (proven) and told the media to back off while they done it!
I was awake all night watching it and I live a few hundred yards from Newcastle General were he was taken afterwards.
the 'live shooting' was in Rothbury but it only took them 10 mins to go past my house (escorted too) but 5/10 mins before the 'live' footage was aired.
It screams a cover up!!
And for those who disagree, he shot the copper (P.C Rothband) at the top of my street.
