OP Davey_Martin Forum Master Joined: Jul 2007 Posts: 2,888 New Ferry	Is there anybody out there who knows how to use Flash? I've a number of input text fields on my page... all with default text in (name/email/comments/etc) when i run the movie and go to edit the text in any of the fields it will only let me use characters that have been used in that particular text field or the others i've used.... for example: i cant use q w r y u p d f.... etc, etc anybody know y?

Which way are you putting the default text in, as far as I can see the only way of doing this properly is with a bit of javascript which deletes the default text as soon as you start entering data. OP Davey_Martin Forum Master Joined: Jul 2007 Posts: 2,888 New Ferry	i'm not sure why it was doing it... found a workaround, altho not ideal... i've just typed all the characters that will be used in the forms on my site in a text layer off the screen and it now allows all those characters to be typed in the input fields. odd tho!
