Just heard someone was killed earlier today at Lairds in the Con Hall working on the Aircraft Carrier build, apparently he was crushed by a fork lift truck.
Sad news

update - worker is in intensive care fighting for his life so good vibes needed to go his way. broken neck, punctured lung, ribs cracked and kidneys ruptured so he needs all the good spinks he can get. At least he is alive.
HSE crawling all over the shop

havnt heared anything on the news or anything He had a works accident in the paint shop on the thursday before the shutdown , and died about a week later at the Countess of Chester...very sad.The HSE are investigating at the moment.

update - very sad news, the man in question who was injured at Lairds last week has passed away from his injuries.
Thoughts go out to his family
