I took loads of the Echo Arena last year. I hate the way they play on his illness like it should matter, I think this has gotten out of hand a bit.
I was nearly arrested for taking photos in Birkenhead town centre a couple of months ago - I suppose it was fair as it was 10pm.

I don't really know. The security guard alerted the police when he saw me taking photos. They must've incorrectly assumed I was doing it for some kind of robbery, they checked my camera. It's sad the assumption anyone with a camera is doing it because they are planning to rob a place/plant a bomb.
I wasn't doing anything wrong, I had an answer for all their questions, so it's not my problem.

i upset a few bobbys by taking photos of them ! they were very unhappy about it !so i deleted the pics in front of them to keep the peace

The two police officers asked me if what I was doing was actually legal. I though that was odd, had to say 'Yes, taking photos is legal'.

I might go along and make a point of taking some photographs of the Arena, it is perfectly legal. I laugh at the security guards mentioning they had CCTV coverage, I guess they were a couple of IQ zeros not to spot the irony.
