Just let him jump, save taxpayers a bit of money in the long run.
If he wont jump, bring in the marksman......  I worked in the NHS and dealt with people with "real" mental health issues enough to know that the ones that are serious about killing themselves just go ahead and do it! No sitting on top of a roof being a general nuisance and putting other people's lives at risk. I've been in theatre when we have fought to save the lives of those that jump off buildings, the aftermath is horrific!! It's not a nice way to spend your day.
