I do mate, I have a ryobi drill and it lasts 2 minutes - shite
I'm not saying ryobi isnt good for the money, but their Ni-CAD batteries last as long as summer did last year

Strange, I use mine all the time and can honestly say I have no problems what so ever !!!!! It must be you joe ya big wazzock  makita's not cheap bud, thats the only problem, I think the cordless grinder is £200+

Yeah, I dont use mine that regularly, so maybe thats why the battery is crap.
Makitas are coming down in price and if you can afford it, one of the best quality tools IMO and will last

Why dont you buy a Power Generator and Leave it in the tunnels somewhere so when a U.E is needed lights n power is at hand?? Just an idea..
