Don't know if anyone has mentioned The Duke of York, Grange rd Birkenhead. Never had a drink in there when it was the Duke, but had a drink in the Labour club that used the building. When they were doing up Grange rd they knocked the building down. The labour club were going to move to the seamans mission in Cleveland St but the move never came off. Sorry no pics.

I lived just around the corner from there
Always knew it as the York
Didn't know it was the Duke of York or a Labour club
It was my local in the 60s
