We had a birthday meal. Took me an hour in the kitchen - starter-Nachos, main-Jambalaya, sweet-Sweet Empaniditos. The Tequila finished off the meal and the Jalapenos nearly finished us all off!

you missed out high Tea on your list of things. high tea is buttered scones and cup of tea served at 4pm. A china cup and little finger pointing up in the air as you pick the cup up out of the saucer. no big mugs or tea bags floating in the cups. Are you also a lady that lunches, jimbob? Tea today: Parsnip soup (curried for the grown-ups)

Dinner this evening is Lasagne (no packets involved), with garlic bread and a side salad.
Sometimes Police Officers give more than just speeding tickets!

The homemade honey and mustard roasted carrot and parsnip soup that I didn't get chance to make yesterday! Do it Station - can't be any worse than my millions of missile and gun shots from the Ark Royal
