Anyone go to this school? I was there from around 1972-1975 ish. Mr Bailey was the headmaster and the other teachers I can remember were Mr Walsh, Mr Lawrence, Miss Burns ( who became Mrs Grundy) and Miss Wood

i was there a little later 76-80 and remember some of those names.i think it was miss grundy who took us on a school trip to france.

i was there when it first became a comprehensive from around sept 1972 to may 1975 adding to elizabeths teachers i also rember mr ramsden who took me for science and cricket !
my class teachers were mr lawremce and miss burns

Yes I did, I left in the early 70s, I wish I had started at a younger age and gone to the nursery, Mrs Heighton ( I hope I have spelt it correctly!!)and Mrs Thomas, the swing they had was bright blue and I think self assemble as Mrs Thomas had to attach the wooden seat to the large brackets at the top of the swing, it was a does anyone have a picture of this swing?
My teacher was Mrs Croft.
