The Now Closed Public Toilets

ahhh looks like it never used to be a roundabout.

makes sense as it would be a nightmare tryna cross over to use them bogs otherwise lol

I think someone has just come out the toilets on crutches

you know the whole time ive looked at that photo ive never noticed that guy standing there with the crutches

Well i never knew there was toilets on that roundabout, you learn something new every day, although i've never felt the need to go on the roundabout, lol

Thought you might like to see this. That clock was moved in 1929 to make way for the tunnel approach roads. It looks really close to central station in this pic.

Thats a good picture that Ghostly i like the fact that you can see the old post office phone line.. You got any old pictures of Laird Street by any chance ? Only got 3 my self..

Poor old George V looks a bit worse for wear - looks like he's having a nose bleed. Must be flipping in his grave!!!
