Hehe fantastic i had multple rigs the best CB i ever had was a Harrier CBX had it for 5 years then i sold up as i got bored with the same shit but seriously the one thing that killed CB radio was Internet And yep CB is just like this forum i hardly now anyone on here and i speak to all you guys so whats the difference hehe

oh oh ho, I had a Harrier CBX once I think, well the name rings a loud bell. I think it was between the Midland and the Cobra.

Good rig it was I used to own a Eurosonic 80 channel handheld and on a Atmospheric lift (skip or lift as it was nicknamed) i talked to somebody in norfolk it was wierd but amazing at the time

There used to be a lad by Brackenwood Infants School that had the most amazing rig! The aerials he had beggared belief.

roger diddly di-pole....theres sumin called mobile phones now days we ll be putin 8 tracks back in are cars and 1 of those radios that stores 3 stations on MW and 1 LW......breaker on the side come back......

1-9 a copy.. Used to have cb radio. Lived on the 'Ponderosa'.Handle was 'Wind Breaker'. Can't remember name of rig but had side bands and everyother band. On in early 70's. I found there were too many 'bucket mouths' in the end spoiling it for the good buddies out there.

Still have a couple of base mount sets bought more or less the year CB became legal, and a 40 channel hand-held. Think I will throw some batteries in the hand-held and see if anyone is there..

lol i was on the cb too, i was known as Shadow and used to chat to heartbreaker most of the time.

I got a Cobra a few years back but its so hard to work grrrr lol

awww man,I was known as the serpent(when I could get on it) and me old man was known as the rooster.

We used to have a bloody big silver rod strapped to the chimney.What a job me dad had putting that up.He nearly fell off the roof.lol.
