Very wise words, regardless of anything else mentioned in this thread, you have summed up the big fault in the concept of the "new" site perfectly there Pomp.

to be honest...i only joined a coupla months ago...and i have met some very nice people on here, i wouldnt want to g to another forum...n if its called birkenhead cruise...i dont like or live in birkenhead so why wud i wanna join it....its cruise WIRRAL for a reason, so everyone in wirral is included...so to have a birkenhead one just doesnt make sense...thats like me making a seacombe cruise...yeh right!

Daz & Richie, you showed support and put in some effort to advertise Autowirral/Cruisewirral at the last liquid cars show, and Daz, you had all this enthusiasm and ideas to get Cruisewirral back on it's feet and then you abandon it all to start off fresh using this site (and probably others) to help BHC.

As already mentioned, good luck to you, however, if it takes off and fails, Cruisewirral will always be here and will have the members (both old and new) and moderators to keep it going.

Mark and others have put a lot of effort into this site over the years organising events and trying to keep everyone happy and I'm sure you realise that, but if you start organising events on these forums and then organising the same, if not very similar events on other forums, it clearly does become a rival site with members (and maybe even moderators) committing themselves to one or the other.

Joe, i do see your point

however any ideas that i have expressed on this site, remain MY ideas so i can use them and distribute them as i see fit. If you wish to continue to run UNOFFICIAL meets then so be it, just remember who's idea it was.

I'm not having a go or trying to make enemies, but if i host and event i'm sure members on here would like to attend it, but if i'm reading your post right, you would rather i didn't ask on here. In all fairness i'd like to involve CW with my ideas, however this doesn't look possible now.

Yes, I agree, they are your ideas, and don't get me wrong, I'm all for you posting them on here and asking members to come along, joining in or contribute, but the problem comes when you start ideas and organising events and then abandon or lack organisation in them in favour of the same, similar events or events with conflicting dates to those you have started on Autowirral.

For example, I noticed there was a BBQ thread running on BHC, and yet you started one on Wikiwirral back in January and seemingly have now lost all interest in organising it or participating in it?

I'm not trying to make enemies with you or richie here daz, but to me, it seems you have stabbed cruisewirral in the back.

Not at all mate, on BHC there is indeed a BBQ thread.

I never lost interest in anything i started on here, however i have had them taken away from me. was only the other day i Bumped this topic. to find that i have been taken of it and am no longer welcome. however i have said if i arrange anything on any site i will invite you all.

I can understand your feelings joe about the backstabbing. this was never the case. i never intentionally want to upset or get anyone angry.
