THQ has announced the development of Deadly Creatures, an action thriller title for the Nintendo Wii.

Deadly creaturesDeveloped internally by THQ's Rainbow Studios, 'Deadly Creatures' throws players into a anacrophobe's worst nightmare.

Players take control of an armoured scorpion and a stealthy tarantula and struggle against a variety of creatures including vicious Gila monsters, tarantula wasps, and black widows.

"Deadly Creatures is an amazingly innovative game concept, and exemplifies THQ's commitment to creating original new IP for the Nintendo Wii platform," said Randy Shoemaker, director of global brand management, THQ.
