Got some good info from someone at work yesterday, that tells you when and where you can see the ISS pass over  Last night, it was at dusk (18:02), passing pretty much East to West I saw it pass over It needs to be a clear sky - its pretty much the brightest thing up there - looks like a very bright star, moves at about the same speed as a high flying aeroplane (The ISS has no flashing lights though) and from starting to see it, to it dissappearing, takes about 2-3 mins.
