You have a Hydrolic leak mate, basically you are loosing brake fluid. It Is NOT safe to drive like that.
I suggest to get a full brake check carried out soon to asses exactly what is leaking.

I had the same a few months back, and the leak wasnt anywhere near the breaks. A component in the engine had been rubbing against the brake pipe and the smallest of holes was letting almost vapour escape. Giving me exacly the same results as your self. Your going to guess whats coming next? Scooby sorted it

Come to think of it.....I remember hearing people say that on the Ka, 16s can rub on the brake fluid pipes. It may have been this that caused it. Anyway, it's in the garage gettin sorted now. Thanks for the help chaps.

Car's sorted now! Has been since tuesday, forgot to tell you! Turns out the wheels had rubbed through the brake fluid pipes. Its sorted now though (and the pipes have been re-located to prevent it from happening again)
