Seen it before cant remember where, think it was on the viper owners club. very nice car. if it was faster then the bugatti would the papers be raving all over it.

I belive the Bugatti is limited to its top speed  I can see it now, the Bugatti board meeting... "Hmmm, this is a fast car, shall we limit the top speed to reduce the risk of the owners killing themselves?" "Yeah, what a good idea, what about a nice sensible 250mph?" "Sounds good" I mean, if your gonna limit at 250mph, is there really any point

limited or not limited simple fact is if u were doin 250mph in ur 840,000rips were of buggati the 120,000 new dodge viper wud slowly crawl past u by 5mph,
how gutted wud that make u feel
either way ud both b dead before u had a chance to tel ya mates what hapened

The bugatti is limited bexause,the spoiler has to be retracted to go for top speed,thus no downforce,no drag,but thats gives the car the potential to take off if enough air gets under it,this viper will be all over the papers soon

Its actually a Dodge Viper Hennessey Venom 1000 Coupe - a company which specialises in modifying Vipers. They are only making 24 of them, and as its not "out of the factory" with 1000bhp I dont think it can be classed as a production car  Wonder if an aftermarket tuning company could squeeze a few more geegees out of the Bugatti?
