Raise the Titanic by Clive Cussler.

If you liked the film you'll love this book. It's a little darker than the movie and a little more extravagant because there's no limitations on budget or technical capabilities of movie making.

his is part of a series featuring a spy type character called Dirk Pitt.

Currently reading The Essex Serpent by Sarah Perry . Set in 1893 , it tells the tale of a widow who leaves London for Essex where she hears talk of a mythical serpent which roams the local marshes claiming human lives .
Next up will be The Raven's Head by Karen Maitland . I've read a few of her books before ( Company of Liars , The Gallows Curse ) . They're all set in the medieval period and often have supernatural themes - all of them are a good read .

Just finished 2 great books

'The Climb' by Chris Froome - felt he was sitting in the room with me just chatting - loved it.

'Fallen Idols' by Neil White - a thriller centered round a super star footballer - brilliant

Just going to start the novel 'The Last Maasai Warrior' by Frank Coates. A novel built round historial facts.

So many books, so little time

'Born Evil' by Kimberley Chambers. Gritty/ crime/ drama genre similiar to Martina Cole, Mandasue Heller etc. This book is one of her earliest, I got it for pennies on-line.

Con-currently reading 'Call Me Dave' too which i got from the library- the un-authorised biography of the second worse PM, in my living history (in my opinion).

I have 'Hillsborough Voices' on order, so I must crack on with these two because I can't wait to get stuck into H.V. when it arrives.

Read 'Hillsborough Voices' now: fantastic.

If you have not read it and want to- it's a roller coaster of a read that will grab you by the collar and take you through an abundance of emotions.

I'm in the process of reading my way through Alan Dean Foster's books. Currently I'm on the first book in the Flinx series.
Nice book, well written and a joy to read. Can't wait to retire to bed at night to read a few more chapters before sleep.
