Nothing I can see that should have offended anyone, so grow up ! So much disrespect on here. We don't need any more of the negative comments. I wish him all the best too and at least Cools has the ability to stand up for what she believes in. The remainder just stick with your pathetic soaps, they contribute a lot to your dull lives.

I stayed away because of the Topic Title. No interest. Was alerted here to read a(nother) 'Granny Rant'.  Thought I was on the wrong link....all about Soaps. Typical 'modern' wiki now - the content of the topic does not match the Title!  used to be a cardinal sin.

I can't see that he did either a 'good' or a 'bad' job as it isn't really much of a job anyway. In either case it has zero effect on anyone's life.
My preference would be to get shot of the monarchy completely and have a president instead. You might not like the one chosen - imagine president Gove or Farage for instance - but he is chosen by US, and only there for a set period. To me this is far better than someone over which you have NO choice and is there until they die of old age.
Call it arrogance if you like, but I want to be a citizen and not a 'subject' of the monarch. I have nothing against the actual royal family as people, however, and if royalists wish to continue to grovel to them, then they are more than welcome to do so.
