There’s an interesting article on the Mail Online website today about a new Imperial War Museum book containing colour photographs from the Second World War … http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4423218/The-Second-World-War-colour.html… one of the pictures shows women in a Wirral underground munitions factory in 1945 making bullets and cannon shells (scroll down the website page to see it). Does anyone know where this factory was?

It was in the undercroft of the "new fun palace" on New Brighton sea front. (next to the Floral Pavilion)
I went down there once or twice when I worked there.
